Tottenham Hotspur tonight debuted their new third kit for the 2015/16 campaign in a pre-season friendly against Real Madrid in Munich. The bold purple kit will be worn as an alternative to their white and blue home kit, and light blue and navy away kit.
The strip features grey detailing on the arms and collar, with a pinstripe detail giving the kit a sophisticated look. Spurs’ first outing in the 2015/16 third strip was unsuccessful as they went down 2-0 to a weakened Madrid side, with James Rodriguez and Spurs old boy Gareth Bale grabbing the goals to give the Spanish side the victory.
Purple shorts and grey detailing are present on the shorts and socks to finish the strip off. It represents a comeback season for Under Armour after a lacklustre season in 2014/15 when it came to kits. We weren’t massive fans of the Tottenham kits last season, but they are certainly some of our favourite strips to be released this season.
