FIFA 16 Ultimate Team Draft

Our favourite pundit pairing of Carra & Nev return in this video for FIFA 16, showcasing the new ‘FUT Draft’ mode.

The wise cracks and debates are in full swing as the SkySports pairing take the reigns on the new game mode whereby you pick your favourite team from a fantasy ‘draft’, first choosing your captain and then filling out the rest of your team from a selection of players from around the world, including Legends on Xbox One.

Watch the lads have a bit of fun, and even an argument over Steven Gerrard in the video above.

When selecting your team you will be faced with a decision as to whether to pick the best players in the world, or pick the team with the best chemistry. Legends will now only have to be paid with someone from the same nationality to have a strong ‘green’ link, so if you want new legend George Best up front with good team chemistry, you’ll have to pair him with, erm, Kyle Lafferty. Brilliant.

On the other hand, a midfield of Ryan Giggs, Arron Ramsey and Gareth Bale has us positively drooling. Even if Joe Allen has to be in there too.

FUT Draft will cost players 15,000 in game coins, 300 FIFA Points, or 1 Draft Token (available in FUT packs). Even if you lose your first match you’ll still receive a reward that matches the value of the entrance fee. The further you progress, the better rewards you get.

Other additions to the game that have been released today are a fully licensed Bundesliga with official match day presentation, 9 new stadiums including Portsmouth’s Fratton Park, career mode player training and brand new commentary to make the game even more immersive.

FIFA 16 is released on set for a September 24th 2015 release date in the UK, and is available for pre-order now.
