It has to be said, this season both Nike and Manchester City are bringing their A Game when it comes to their kits. After a string of impressive releases, Nike have finally dropped the curtain on the 2013/14 Premier League champions away kit for the forthcoming season.
Inspired by the club anthem, Blue Moon, the Manchester City 2015/16 away kit features a striking lunar pattern on both sleeves, with a light blue trim complementing the dark navy blue perfectly.
Dark navy shorts and socks with light blue trim help off finish the smart look, and ensure that City will stand out from the crowed both home and away next season.
The Manchester club had already returned to their traditional sky blue and white kit for the new season as they bid to win a third Premier League title in 5 years. New record signing Raheem Sterling models the strip, and City will wear it on their pre-season tour of Australia.
The strip features a host of new technological advancments from Nike, including Nike DRI-Fit technology which pulls sweat away from the body, allowing players to be cooler, drier and perform at their peak. Each part of the kit is also made partly from recycled polyester, helping the environment and making the kits more sustainable.
The new Manchester City 2015/16 Away Strip is available from www.nike.com from August 5th 2015.
